Royal Porthcawl is the best course in the country, located south of Swansea and the only one in the Top 100 in the world. Swansea is a popular spot with great links courses around, such as Pennard, Tenby, Ashburnham and Royal Porthcawl. Just to the north of Cardiff is the famous 5-star Celtic Manor resort with its 3 courses, including the Twenty Ten, which has hosted the Ryder Cup.
